Visiting this website

To deliver this site, your browser sends a request to our web server. This necessarily includes your IP address and the requested page or file. The server may also process the date and time, browser and device information (user agent), referring page, and response status. We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose errors, and protect the service from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Linz, Austria, which processes website access data in connection with hosting.

According to the retention information provided for our World4You hosting, server access logs are stored for 13 months. Information may be kept longer in individual cases where a legal obligation or a specific security incident requires it.

The site's fonts, images, stylesheets, and JavaScript files are served from this website. The website code reviewed for this statement has no contact form, analytics, advertising pixels, or first-party tracking code. It does not intentionally set its own cookies or use local or session storage. This does not describe any additional settings a hosting provider might apply.

Optional YouTube video

The video player on our home page is initially inactive. The page does not connect to YouTube merely to display the placeholder. If you choose “Load YouTube video”, your browser connects to Google's youtube-nocookie.com player. Google can then receive your IP address, browser and device details, and the referring website, and may store or read information on your device. If you are signed in to Google, Google may associate your interaction with your account. Google's privacy-enhanced mode limits the use of views for personalising your YouTube experience and advertising; it does not mean that no data is transmitted or that no cookies can be used.

We load this optional external content on the basis of your choice and consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 where device access requires consent). You can use the rest of the site without loading the video. “Remove video” stops the current player connection; reloading the page also leaves it inactive. This does not undo data Google has already received or remove cookies Google may have set. This site links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Bandcamp, and other external websites. The social icons are ordinary links; they do not load posts or tracking scripts from those platforms on this site. When you click a link, your browser connects to the destination, which receives your IP address and may receive the referring website according to your browser settings. The destination's own privacy information applies there.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address, message, and any details you provide to respond and handle your enquiry. For booking, press, and order enquiries, the legal basis may be steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other messages, it is our legitimate interest in replying (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where applicable, we retain records to comply with legal duties (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Our email provider and any people handling the relevant enquiry may receive the message. We keep it for the time needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and longer where statutory retention or a legal claim requires this. Providing the information is voluntary; without a reply address or enough context, we may be unable to respond.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future.
